FRENCHIE (real name Kevin Sciou) was born in southern France in 1980 to the sweet sounds of his daddy's record collection, somewhere in between Stax & Chess records. Add to that some of the British Invasion's finest including some mighty fine American Boogie Blues Rock of the 70's and Some of the great legends of Country Blues there you have it! I picked up my first Guitar at the age of 12 and by 13 was already playing bars and dives in and around my hometown trying to recreate the sounds I heard growing up. School wasn't working out for me so I picked up a job in a music store. Soon enough I felt it was time to move on and I did! Going to London at the age of 19, by the time 2001 came along my eyes were set to the US of A!!! I made the move later on that year and ended up in Los Angeles California. There I met Shooter Jennings and promptly joined his Rock'n'Roll band Stargunn. We lasted 2 years before parting ways. Meanwhile I met his dad, the late great Waylon Jennings. Waylon believed in me and gave me the confidence to do what I'm still doing today, taking no prisoners guitar in hand. I've toured the country for the past 10 years with numerous bands and for the past five years have been the main staple as Jack Ingram's lead Guitarist.I have 2 solo albums you can check and I'm Now Launching my new band Redneck Social Club as well as the Music Series "Frenchie's Corner"....
